PS love lip liners

Hey everyone,

Today I am going to talk about something that I have been loving at the moment and that is the PS live lip liners from Primark.

I have three shades 01, 03 and 09 and they are a red shade, a plum shade and of course my favourite nude shade. I have tried so many different nude shades from the drugstore and some were more expensive than others and these are definitely the cheapest I have found at just £1 each! The consistency of these are quite dry but they dint make your lips feel dry so they're that I would call the perfect lip liner consistency! I would highly recommend these and for just £1 it wouldn't hurt just to pick one up to try!

This is actually the second time that I have wrote this post because the last one decided not to save its self! I hope that you have enjoyed reading this and thank you!

yankee candle collection

Hey everyone,

around a year ago I bought a Melt Warmer from a Yankee candle shop and after I bought that I knew that a yankee candle obsession would begin, and was I right! I now have over 20 used and not used yankee candle tarts, and for those who have no clue what I am talking about, basically yankee candle sell a thing where you put a lit tea light in the bottom and it mets the wax on top and I prefer this way over using a normal candle because it doesn't cost as much, they last a really long time and they can be reused!

So here is a list of my favourite yankee candle secents-

Winter/Christmas-

Candy cane lane
Sugared apple
Spiced orange
Snowflake cookie
Christmas cookie

Spring/Summer-

Ginger dusk
Champaca blossom
Lake sunset
Pink sands
Fresh cut roses
Lovely kiku
Honey blossom
Cassis
Garden sweet pea
A childs wish
Aloe water

My favourite Winter/Christmas tart has to be Sugared apple because it smells really sweet with hints of vanilla but yet it still smells fresh with be hints of apple!

My favourite Spring/Summer tart so far is definitely Aloe water, the only way I can describe this is that is smells like a mix of watermelon and flowers! Definitely a good one for the summer!

Thank you so much for reading this blog post, let me know if you have tried any of these and which one is your favourite!

Pink Toned Smokey Eye

Hey everyone,

Today I am going to be showing you and eye shadow look that I created, I love this look because its really neutral but still draws attention! The look is mostly pink toned with a bit of silver.

Things I have used:

  • Naked 3 pallet, shades- Buzz, Nooner and Liar
  • Clarins The Essential pallet, shade 3
  • Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner
  • Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara
  • Real Techniques base shadow brush

To create this look I firstly took Buzz from the Naked 3 pallet and put that through my crease and then I took Nooner and blended it in with Buzz and worked it up towards my brow bone, but not too high up! I then put Liar directly through my crease and I got my Clarins pallet and used shade 3 all over my lid and I then finished it off with some liquid liner!

This is the finished pink toned smokey eye look! I hope you have enjoyed reading this post, if you would like me to do more posts like these please leave me a comment below!

Replenishing dull hair

Hey everyone,

I was looking at my hair yesterday and it just looked so dull and lifeless so I was looking through my drawers to see what I could use on it so I am going to tell you what u used and if it worked.

In the depths of my draws I finally found a hair masque, its the L'Oréal Mythic Oil nourishing masque of all hair types, I also found the Bed Head Brunette Goddess Shine Spray and the Shockwaves Shine and Anti-Frizz Serum.

All of these products are really good and they have individual qualities that my hair needs like shine, moisture and anti-frizz so I decided to mix them all together and use it as a masque I used equal parts of the oils and a bit more of the cream so it was easier to apply. I mixed it all together and put it on my hair, then I wrapped my hair in a bun and slept with the masque still in my hair. when I woke up I washed my hair, make sure you wash it well otherwise it may look greasy! I then dried my hair and voila. Nice, soft and shiny hair!

So now all of you know that you can replenish dull hair with just the things you have in the bottom of your drawers and with the annoying little samples of oil that you will never use! Thank you for reading this post and if you try and do something like this please let me know how it went!

How to: smokey cut crease

Hey everyone,

I have been toying with the idea of doing some kind of eye makeup tutorial with pictures, I had some free time last week so I gave it ago and this is how it turned out!

What I used-
  • Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in fair 1
  • MAC vapour
  • MAC brun
  • MAC satin taupe
  • Collection Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner

Firstly I used the Collection concealer in a really light shade all over my eye lid and then I applied brun into my crease blending it up.  I then added a bit of satin taupe around the edges after that I used the concealer to make a sharp line in my crease and then I blended it down, I then used my Collection eyeliner to create a feline flick and I then got some of the concealer on a small detailer brush and put it directly above the flick to make a space between the flick and the eye shadow. The last thing I did was set the concealer with MAC vapour which is a light cream shade with flecks of iridescent glitter in it.

Thank you for reading this post, would mean a lot if you could tell me your thoughts on the above and if you liked it then I could do more posts like this!

March Glossybox

Hey everyone,

I have been subscribed to Glossybox for over a year now and for those who don't know what Glossybox is, it is a monthly beauty subscription box where for ten pounds a month they send you 5 surprise samples in a beautifully packaged box! Today I thought I would share with you what I received in my march glossy box.

This months boxes theme is 'Step Into Spring' and in it there is a sleek Pout Paint, Naobay Moisturising Peeling scrub, Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara, Dove Advanced Hair Series Shampoo & Conditioner and ncLA Nail Lacquer.

I haven't had the chance to try everything in the box yet so I will tell you what I thought of the things that I have tried!

The first thing I tried is the Sleek Pout Paint, it is a extremely bold shade but i think i could work if I only used a really small amount on a lip brush. They are really pigmented and glossy so they are not the best thing to wear all day because it would probably end up smudged over your face, you will also have to use a lip brush to apply this because the tube is not made to be applied out of.

The next thing I tried was Essence mascara, it is a very wet formula it also has a nice brush. It is more lengthening than voluming but still very nice to use.

The last thing I used was a ncLA Nail Polish in the shade 'Like... Totally Valley Girl',  its a baby pink colour, its really pigmented and its opaque in two coats and it also drys really fast.

Thanks for reading this weeks post!
